Allergan Textured Implant Recall Update

Dr. Lawrence has only used smooth implants for her cosmetic breast augmentation. There has not been a case of ALCL reported in patients who have only had smooth implants.

Dr. Lawrence has, on occasion, used textured shaped implants in her breast cancer reconstruction patients. These patients were contacted several years ago when the first cases were reported.

If your implants were replaced by Dr. Lawrence after being originally placed by another surgeon, you may have had textured implants placed prior to seeing Dr. Lawrence. We are able to provide medical records if your surgery was performed 2009-2019. If your previous plastic surgeon registered your implants, you can contact the manufacturer directly.
