All I can say is WOW-Dr. Lawrence is my HERO! I am 44 years old and I am 7 days post op from a lower face and neck lift. I look amazing! My neck and jowls have bothered me since my 20s. I’ve had several procedures at this office, and I’ve been very happy at the outcomes for all of them, One of the procedures was the PDO facelift. I had sagging jowls and a small chin that made them look even worse. I am scared of surgery, so I thought I’d look into the PDO. I didn’t look normal for about 3 weeks, which, for some reason, I wasn’t expecting. One side of my face was swollen and the other wasn’t - I thought maybe they’d messed up. I will say that Dr. Lawrence was very supportive, even offering to do the procedure again or something else to fix it if it remained a problem. The swelling finally went down, but then I didn’t see very much difference for the next several months. However, it’s now been a year, and the collagen production has kicked in. I now look 10 years younger than my age, did not pay a fortune, and did not have to take the risk that comes with any surgery.I see that the person I had for this (Angela) is no longer at the office,, but I wanted to explain my experience for people who might be considering this procedure. 8 months post op - I had a bandaid face lift with Dr. Marisa Lawrence. I am very pleased with her work, it’s only been 2 days but even with the swelling I like my results. I am not going to post pictures until after the sutures are removed. Then I will show a before and after. But I highly recommend her. The procedure was smooth, you don’t feel any pain during and after the pain is minimal if any. Plus of course she prescribed pain meds and antibiotics. I spoke of how I did not like the way she cut me after the swelling went down. It was horrible how she cut me in the front. Breast Implant Removal - No lift - After having breast implants for 11 years that were way too large for me I wanted them out! Dr. Laurence was great with answering all of my questions about explanting and full capsulectomy. I told her I wanted to breastfeed in the future so I didn't want a lift. She agreed that explant and capsulectomy were my best course of action and also that I had plenty of my own breast tissue so I shouldn't worry about my size.At two weeks post op, she was definitely right! I honestly had no idea what I would look like without implants, but I absolutely love my natural size. The reason I got them originally was to make them more even and symmetrical. But even putting in two different sized implants, they still weren't totally the same. I've learned now that is totally okay! I love my two different boobs.Marisa Lawrence and the rest of her staff were all amazing. Everyone in the office was super kind and welcoming. I will totally recommend Dr. Lawrence to people I know.Updated on 19 Dec 2020:I just got my tapes taken off a couple days ago and this is how my scars are look. Nurse said they look great! They are right in the crease of my breast so you can't see them at all. I was told to care for them by wiping with alcohol twice a day and following that with a little bit of vaseline. I'll do that for two weeks until my next appointment.Updated on 30 Dec 2020:Just wanted to post my 4 week post op photos! I am so happy with my new old boobs! I finally remembered why I got the implants in the first place and it was because I was insecure with my boobs being two different sizes. If only I knew then how normal that was!!! My right nipple is still a little inverted but I just work on it a little bit every day to poke out. I know they will continue to heal and change so I'm not worried about it!Updated on 27 Jan 2021:Still feeling really great and very happy about my results! My right nipple is still a little inverted sometimes but not all the time and I think she'll poke out for good eventually! I had a few consultations before getting to Dr. Lawrence. Once it was over, my mom and I looked at each other and said "she’s the one!". Her skill and knowledge seeps through when she talks to you. She handled me with such care and attention, almost in a maternal but professional way. I had my breast augmentation done during the COVID-19 pandemic so my support system wasn’t allowed to come in with me. I was a little nervous about that but Dr. Lawrence and Nurse Angela, made me feel safe and protected. I had a few consultations before getting to Dr. Lawrence. Once it was over, my mom and I looked at each other and said "she's the one!". Her skill and knowledge seeps through when she talks to you. She handled me with such care and attention, almost in a maternal but professional way. I had my breast augmentation done during the COVID-19 pandemic so my support system wasn't allowed to come in with me. I was a little nervous about that but Dr. Lawrence and Nurse Angela, made me feel safe and protected. Dr. Lawrence is one of a kind in her profession. I came in after suffering for 2.5 years from being ill due to breast implants and she was the first doctor who simply believed me. I had gone to so many doctors after my implants were put in with problems and not one of them agreed that my implants were the problem. Ice Your Bum After Cellfina! - I am only two days out from my procedure, but can already tell a big difference happening. I would definitely say to do it on a Friday afternoon and not have anywjere to go that night or next day because you will ooze blood and lidocaine (or whatever they use to numb you) for about 24 hrs. There isn't really pain, but more of a discomfort when I sit. Nothing a couple of Tylenol hasn't handled. One thing I can say to do is ICE ICE ICE! I came home and put two bags of frozen peas under my butt for 30 minutes every 4 hours the first night and my bruising is very minimal compared to the other pics I see here. Oozing stopped after first night as well. Will update in a few weeks! More

Best Cosmetic Surgeon - For years I have been treating my neck hoping to tighten the sagging skin. I have had several consultations with different doctors, all of whom told me I was too young for surgery and to try an expensive tightening procedure, none of which seem to help. Sculpting my Revision - Dr. Lawrence was excellent. Her staff is a pleasure. She understood my problem and tried to fix the best solution for me. I had a previous breast revision and due to some issues, my left side was not even. So she came back with an option to do liposuction and transfer it to resculpt my breasts, giving me a more youthful look and reducing my chubby spots. We’re only a little more than a week out from surgery and can see a much more positive results, great experience. I am so glad that she was able to work with me and relieve my stress. More
Excellent Care and Professionalism - I just had plasma pen skin tightening procedure with Angela Evens and all of the staff was so nice and provided excellent care. The procedure is more invasive and intense than I expected, so Angela personally communicated with me after to ease my concerns. Best Decision I’ve Ever Made - I was 12 years old the first time I saw my facial profile in a picture. I gasped at my “beak” which I felt was much too large for my face. Top notch surgeon and a true professional! - I have seen Dr Lawrence since 2011 and have undergone multiple procedures, both cosmetic and medically necessary. Her staff is top notch and I never feel like I am inconveniencing anyone when I call with questions or need to be seen unexpectedly. Due to some other health issues (cancer survivor, bariatric patient), I have a difficult time healing after surgery and Dr Lawrence is always patient with me and remains optimistic and vigilant for any signs of infection or incision dehiscence. She has returned to the OR to reclose my non-healing wounds multiple times (my issue, not hers), and never once complained about it cutting into her busy schedule, family time or otherwise inconveniencing her. Every single time I have work done with her, the results far exceed my expectations. It is also important to me that she goes out of her way to make sure that I understand each treatment, and how the different fillers work. Two thumbs way up - I went to see Dr Lawrence for a Cellfina treatment for cellulite. When Dr. Lawrence saw me, she said I should do 6 sessions of Radio Frequency treatments instead. This is a less expensive treatment. The fact that a doctor would recommend a less expensive treatment made me feel that her office is not about the money, but instead it's about the treatment best suited to the patient. As for the Radio Frequency treatments, I am very pleased with the results. Jeanine administers the treatments, and I cannot rave enough about Jeanine. She is wonderful, professional and caring. She explains everything that she is doing, and makes sure you are comfortable. She is also hilarious. I highly recommend Dr. Lawrence's office and Jeanine for Radio Frequency treatments. More
I went to Marisa a few years ago when I had a random blood vessel burst on my nose and could not figure out what was going on. I had recommendations from a number of friends and family members that she was the best in Atlanta and even though it was a small thing, it was in the middle of my face so I wanted an experienced surgeon to take care of it. She accommodated me quickly, and not even a few months later it was completely unnoticeable. More than that, though, she calmed my anxieties and fears about the procedure/results, her bedside manner was impeccable, and the all female staff made me feel comfortable. After being so impressed by her, I returned a few more times for various treatments including coolsculpt, lasering and a few others. I have since become utterly obsessed with her face moisturizer of her own private line and refuse to use anything else, have sent my husband for scar treatment and a few things too! I would trust no other surgeon in Atlanta. I know she is known as the "celebrity" surgeon, but she is down to earth, calm, experienced, knowledgeable and does TRULY incredible work. Absolutely Amazing Experience and Surgeon! - I can not rave enough about my experience with Dr. Marisa Lawrence! From the front desk, to the people dealing with my insurance, to my nurses, to my care takers, to Dr. Marissa herself, I have had the best experience! I had a breast reduction done on May 2, 2018. Firstly, from my very first visit, to see if it was medically necessary (which it definitely was) and to see if my insurance would cover it, I was treated with kindly, truthfully and respectfully. Edward, the guy who handled my insurance fought long and hard! He really went above and beyond for me, but because there was just an exclusion in my policy, there was nothing that can be done. But even though my United Health Care Insurance through Starbucks denied me (25 years old, never had kids, size 34J boobs that literally went down to my belly button with my nipples facing to the ground, VERY DISAPPOINTED EMPLOYEE STARBUCKS!), they worked with me on getting me the best price and even more so, the best surgery and care! It’s only been 4 weeks from my surgery but from the moment they took my bandages off and I saw the results I just started to cry because I was so thrilled! I did have a complication; I had a blood clot found, but it was just because of my blood and that I’m just a clotter, and it had nothing to do with how the surgery was done, but they took care of me and directed me to exactly who and what I need to do. Every time I come in for my check up, I’m seen in a timely matter and told exactly what I need to do until I see them again. They are very direct and to the point without being rude! Personally, I would rather them to be honest and direct and 10 mins than beat around the bush for an hour! Highly, highly recommend this office and surgeon because my life is now changed for the better! So so happy my physician recommended she to me! I went to see Dr Lawrence for a Cellfina treatment for cellulite. When Dr. Lawrence saw me, she said I should do 6 sessions of Radio Frequency treatments instead. This is a less expensive treatment. The fact that a doctor would recommend a less expensive treatment made me feel that her office is not about the money, but instead it's about the treatment best suited to the patient. As for the Radio Frequency treatments, I am very pleased with the results. Jeanine administers the treatments, and I cannot rave enough about Jeanine. She is wonderful, professional and caring. I was looking to get what trans* individuals refer to as "top surgery" with Marisa Lawrence. It was advised that a method called "Laser Liposuction" would work best for me as they used that method on men who had gynecomastia. They wound up doing a combination of laser liposuction and periaereolar; that is, incisions below both nipples were made and extra breast tissue was removed to sculpt my chest in the most masculine form possible. I had this surgery done before being on testosterone for very long (I had been undergoing HRT for about 2.5 months before surgery) so my pectoral muscles were not yet fully developed. I was pleased with my results in that my chest looked as perfect as I could have imagined. A bonus effect of the surgery that they reassured me of the fact that the laser reduction would shrink/reduce the sensitivity of my nipples as well which was something that concerned me. The staff is extremely LGBT friendly and I would highly recommend this business practice to anyone looking to get a similar surgery or even full mastectomy for larger breasts (I had small breasts to begin with). My partner also got a non nipple sparing mastectomy and it looks phenomenal now. Their instructions for healing were fantastic and I wound up with nearly non-existant scars. Great experience - I have to thank Dr. Lawrence and her staff for providing service above and beyond the call for what was both a medical and plastic surgery situation. Four years ago Dr. Lawrence provided strong emotional support and a great referral to another type of surgeon for me. She did not know me at the time and stayed after hours after another doctor asked if she could see me pretty much at once. She did and helped me deal with a bad prognosis after surgery for a cancer had been unduly delayed. I swore to myself then I would go back to her should the need ever arise. Well, it arose mid-December with the need for a reconstructed breast implant removal that had developed cellulitis. The OR was packed that time of year but she contacted the Medical Director and found out on a Friday that I would have surgery that following Monday. The removal went smoothly and the cosmetic repair was better than I had hoped for. Also thank you to Michelle for working with my insurance company to get their approval the same day the surgery was put on the OR's book. Best decision going with Dr.M. Lawrence - After 4 C-sections and several abdominal surgeries, i had all but given up hope that i would ever have the flat stomach i longed for. Exercising helped but i still had excess skin. After deciding on an Abdominalplasty the next big decision was finding a dr that i felt confident in and met all the medical credentials. I met with Dr Lawrence and she and her staff were remarkable. Dr Lawrence listened to my concerns and took time to address every one of them. She even covered things i had not thought to ask about.. post surgery care etc. The follow up appts were each treated with the same care and attention as my initial visit. Dr. Lawrence is an excellent plastic surgeon, and a wonderful person. I had Moes surgery (removing skin cancer) that took all day on a Friday. Almost my entire nose was removed, and I was told by another doctor I would have to wait until the following week to have my nose repaired. One call, and Dr. Lawrence met me in her office at 7 pm on a Friday, after dropping her kids off to go to camp. She did extensive surgery on my nose so I didn't have to go through a weekend and several days with no nose. Later, she did a complete nose job so you can barely tell I had any surgery. I had a second Moes since then, and she repaired another big hole in my nose. Dr. Lawrence is very focused on the medical needs of her patients and does a great job. More than that, she cares about her patients. I am forever greatful that she cared enough to go to her office on a Friday night to help a man who had no nose. I highly recommend this amazing doctor. I have been a patient of Dr. Lawrence since 2001 when I was diagnosed with breast cancer. I had originally gone to another plastic surgeon who had done my initial surgery but after 6 weeks in and living a nightmare when I looked in the mirror, I went to Dr. Lawrence for a second opinion. I was told that what had been done would not work and within 2 weeks she was correct. Before I was diagnosed with cancer I had also lost 180 lbs and was left with a tremendous amount of skin. This was a good thing but because of the double mastectomy and the extra skin I was in bad shape. Dr. Lawrence took the time when she did my reconstruction to take care of the excess skin and leave me with a natural result. She has totally changed my body. 6 Procedures at One Time and TOTALLY WORTH IT! - Atlanta, GA - I had gastric bypass surgery in 2007 and lost over 300 pounds. I went to Dr.Lawrence to remove all of the hanging skin left from the weight loss. She and her staff worked so hard to get insurance approval from me but were unsuccessful. Still, they worked with me and I was able to get all of my surgeries done at one time to avoid paying multiple hospital fees. I had a thighplasty, tummy tuck, lower body contour, bracioplasty, and breast implants, All in all, I had over 255 stitches and staples. The recovery was tough, I won't lie. The stitches on my thighs kept re-opening because I wan't able to take in enough protein to heal. That was the fault of having gastric bypass. Every time they ripped, the staff was able to get me in immediately to re-stitch me in the office. This happened no less than 7 times and I was always welcome with compassion when it did. I got pregnant about 2 months post-op, due to my new hot body ;) and I was so worried that all the hard work was going to get torn apart. My OB confirmed my fears that "the power of the uterus is unstoppable"....unless Dr.Lawrence did your tummy tuck! I never got above a size 12 with my daughter and delivered a healthy 6 pound, 5 ounce girl naturally with no complications. I was able to breastfeed just fine even with the implants. A few months later, I was pregnant again and again, kept a small enough figure never to have to wear maternity clothes. I delivered another healthy baby girl on Valentine's Day of 2012. On the 4th of July, we conceived my son, Jack, and again, never got bigger than a 12. My body looked nothing like the other moms who had given birth leaving the hospital. I was in a size 8 within a month. He's almost 2 months now and I'm a 6. All of my children were born vaginally and all were carried to full term and all were breastfed. The only complication I ever had with the surgeries was in healing and that, again, was not being able to eat enough protein. Believe your doctor when they tell you to eat your protein to heal!! Dr.Lawrence and her staff changed my life. I'm only 3 years post op and the scars are already so faded! I wear nothing but sleeveless dresses and tank tops in the spring and summer and I was NEVER able to do that before. I swim in public and am not ashamed, My husband loves the way I look and our 3 children in 3 years are living proof! No saggy tummy or pooch here after becoming a mommy and I am THRILLED! More

Excellent, compassionate surgeon - Our 38 year old went to Dr. Lawrence for an abdominoplasty and butt lift. He had lost 110 lbs and wanted to get rid of the excess skin. Dr. Lawrence was able to get his insurance to pay a large % of the cost. The surgery went well but overnight during his stay, he developed extreme nauseau and chills. Blood tests showed his hemoglobin had dropped dramatically. He was immediately transferred to the main hospital and underwent multiple diagnostic tests. He wound up being in the hospital for almost 3 wks, had a 2nd surgery to drain excess fluids and search for a source of bleeding. He was sent to ICU for more one on one monitoring of his drains and blood/fluid output and was seen by several specialists. Through it all, Dr. Lawrence was extremely kind and caring, let him text her at all hours, came to see him several times day and night and called us to reassure us. We were needing to leave to go out of state but were not sure if we should leave him. Dr. Lawrence said "go mom-- I'll take good care of your son" and she did. We still are awaiting results from further tests to see what happened=they suspect it was a clotting factor and it may be that we will never know. It was not a surgical error. We highly recommend Dr. Lawrence!!! More

She called me personally the day of the procedure to check on my recovery and actually listened to what I said. Nurses kind of know when docs are listening to us..My whole revovery was well monitored and blissfully uneventful. The staff in the office could not be more helpful, caring and always available when I come in. Reconstrution - I recently had Breast Rconstruction by Dr Lawrence. I found her nurse Lisa and her office manager Christy very informative and very patient with me as this was a trying time for me. I had all of my questions answered and recovery details down to a fine science. Dr .Lawrence made sure that I fully understood my procedure and helped me come to terms with the "next step in this process. Christy got my insurance approval through and I was on the sugery book within two weeks of my original consult. It has been 4 weeks now and recovery has been wonderful. Changed my life! - I've always been extremely self conscious about my body and was finally talked into paying Dr.Marisa Lawrence a visit early last year. Great experience - I was very pleased with my experience with Dr Lawrence. Her staff is very helpul and accomodating. I was over 30 minutes late to my appointment and even offered to reschedule but they assured me it wasn't a problem and very understanding. I had alot of questions about breast reduction and Dr Lawrence was kind and patient with me as I told her my fears and concerns that had kept me from having this surgery years ago. She put me at ease and answered all of my questions in a very informed manner and so that I the patient, fully understood. I am so pleased with the results of my surgery. Simply the BEST - Dr. Lawrence is a life-saver! I had a large portion of my nose removed for skin cancer. At 3 pm on a Friday I was referred to a doctor in Roswell for reconstruction, who was unavailable for four days. So, we tracked Dr. Lawrence down at the airport at 5 pm on a Friday. She dropped her kids off and met me in her office at 6:30 PM on a Friday and reconstructed my nose. If not for Dr. Lawrence, I would have gone four days with a giant hole in my face. Facelift...flawless!!! - At 57 years of age and still having a teenager to keep up with ,,,I felt that my face just didn't match my zest for life and my high energy level. After meeting a patient of Dr. Lawrence's who had just had a facelift my anxieties were all but gone. The woman was"retro"ed! There was no pulled tight appearance but just a refreshed and rejuvenated look. I proceeded with the facelift procedure and am now seven weeks out. Just had an augmentation performed by Dr Lawrence and her staff - Dr Lawrence was the first doctor I went to while browsing for my cosmetic surgery in the Atlanta area. I found no need to go anywhere else after my very first consultation. First off, her small, all-female staff is hands on and very tight knit. They never kept me waiting, yet give me all the time and attention I needed throughout the process. They were also very helpful with honoring a "special" they were holding, which was extremely comforting for me in a financial sense. A lot of the small staff has had reconstructive or cosmetic procedures done themselves and can speak/show you firsthand about them. They were professional but friendly and down to earth. My surgery went flawless and, considering I'm a perfectionist, I couldn't be happier with my results. I do agree that Dr Lawrence herself is a little below possibly other doctors or her own staff in bedside manner, but I believe she is simply trying to be professional and not waste your time by getting to the point. I highly recommend visiting for at least a consultation to get an idea of the atmosphere and staff if you are looking in the area. More
Best plastic surgeon!! - I have known Dr Lawrence for over 20 years and seen MANY of her patients both before and after surgery. Her results are amazing! I myself choose to have her perform a complex surgery on me that was multi-step, labor intensive and very time consuming. The results were amazing! Best Plastic Surgeon! - I had the pleasure of having Dr. Lawrence as my plastic surgeon. I read a number of reviews on her and even made the trip from California to Georgia to have the best results I could in my plastic surgery. Her office staff was great and very attentive to my needs and my results. Dr. Lawrence greeted me at the hospital and reviewed my surgery, along with the hospital staff. She was there for me in the recovery room and assured me that everything went well. On my follow-up appointments she was equally happy over my results and spend the time answering my questions. I would travel again to Atlanta to have Dr. Lawrence be my surgeon. Her courtesy and professionalism are outstanding and I can't recommend her and her office staff enough! More
